Many of the new mac users are looking for apps to do the tasks they need on their new OS.
I am making a list of Mac apps to help the new converters 🙂 , and the best source to prepare such a list is mac users, so what is your favorite MAC app ?

This month apple has launched its 3rd model of the MacBook Generation, the MacBookAir, after MacBookPro and MacBook.
The size and thickness of this new model makes you speechless, it is unbelievable how can they ship all this technology features, in this envelope thin device, really impressive.

This is a known issue in Leopard, basically the system is looking for the mysql.sock file in the wrong place. Just need to create a symlink and you should be in business:
sudo mkdir /var/mysql/
sudo ln -s /tmp/mysql.sock /var/mysql/mysql.sock

i had a problem writing C/C++ code on my new macbook, after some googling, i found some editors that allow me to do that
the first one is the XCode which comes with the original DVD of Mac Os, also can be downloaded from http://developer.apple.com/tools/xcode/
the second one which is netbeans 6, and can be downloaded from http://www.netbeans.org
and the third one is EClipse, and you can get it from http://www.eclipse.org
the last 2 programs above is open source, and they can run on any OS not limited to MAC only and they have a lot of cool plugins.
if anyone of you guys know other programs to code C and C++ under MAC, kindly post it in the comments.
